The Book of Eli: Film inspiration
The Book of Eli was directed by Albert Hughes and Allen Hughes. It has a very interesting beginning that we decided to take note of and incorporate parts of into our film. There is some eerie music/sounds that start before anything comes on screen which creates suspense. It then goes to a panning shot of a dark woods and you discover what is in the woods including a body and a weapon. While this is happening the sounds are quiet and spooky to make everything tense. We have decided to do something similar to this where we pan around the fairground and see bodies dotted around on the floor. We will use eerie sounds while this is going on too.
